The Kremlin ensemble in Moscow includes the fortress itself with its powerful walls and towers, as well as temples and chambers, majestic palaces and ceremonial administrative buildings. This ensemble of squares - Sobornaya and Ivanovskaya, Senatskaya and Dvortsova, Troitskaya, as well as streets - Spassky, Borovitskaya and Dvortsovaya.
The Armory Chamber is a museum-treasure-house - it is part of the complex of the Grand Kremlin Palace. It is housed in a building built in 1851 by architect Konstantin Ton. The basis of the museum collection for centuries were stored in the royal treasury and the patriarchal vestry precious items made in the Kremlin workshops, as well as received as a gift from the embassies of foreign countries. The museum owes its name to one of the oldest Kremlin treasuries.
