1 Day |
Start from Kirkenes at 2/3 pm. by bus. After about 15 minutes we arrive at the Norwegian-Russian border crossing. There will be passport and visa controls. The bus passes by the mining town of Zapoljarnyj. We will send you an overview map so you can follow the route. In the Pechenga walley you’ll see large military installations. You will also see monuments from the frontline of World War 2. Short stop in Titovka (small cafe and toilet). Arrival in Murmansk aroun 8/9 pm. Russian time (1 hour time difference in summer/2 hours in winter). Check-Inn Hotel in Polyarny Zory. The hotel has a good standard and has also a restaurant, bar, ATM and sauna.

Free time to explore Murmansk: visit a museum, shopping, SPA-treatment. In the evening you can choose between different restaurants with excellent food and service
