DAY 1:

Welcome to Russia!

Transfer to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski (20 km). "Check in” at hotel. Rest.

DAY 2:

Transfer from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to the central part of Kamchatka to Kozyrevsk village. It is 500 km on the off-road automobile. The group moves from the South of Kanchatka to the centre of the peninsular, where one can enjoy various landscapes inclusive of Sredinny and Vostochny mountain ridges. Then crosses the Kamchatka river and see the highest volcanoes of Eurasia:

Kluchevskoy volcano, Kamen, Plosky Tolbachik, Ostry Tolbachik, Ushakovsky volcano and Krestovsky volcano. After that the group sets the camp next to Kozyrevsk village. Accommodation at two-bed tents.

DAY 3:

Transfer to the foot of the Plosky Tolbachik Vlc. Setting a camp and exploring the surrounding area which strikes with its fantastic views. It is here where the first soviet moon robot underwent tests.

DAY 4:

Climb to the top of Plosky Tolbachik volcano (3082 m). It takes 5 – 7 hours. The path lies across frozen lava flows and slag fields. A picturesque panorama of Kluchevskaya group of volcanoes opens from the top. At the top one can see the crater, which is more than 500 meters deep and has 1700 meters in diameter. Return to the camp.

DAY 5:

Excursion to the New northern cones, a walk through the "Dead forest”, which is the consequence of the 1975 Great crack eruption of Tolbachinsky volcano. Ascending New Tolbachinsky cones (300 metres high). Explore of well-known caves in the frozen lava streams.

Return to the camp.

DAY 6:

Transfer to Esso village in the centre of Bystrincky district. Accommodation at the hotel, rest, bathing in the thermal water pool.

DAY 7 :

Visit to the Museum of the local lore, where one can learn about the culture and way of life of the northern inhabitants. A walk around Esso village. Transfer to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski. Accommodation at the hotel. Rest.

DAY 8:

Transfer 400 km to Bystraya (Malkinskaya) river, setting a camp on the bank of the river, preparations for the rafting, rest, fishing.

DAY 9:

The beginning of rafting. Salmon fishing. There is a possibility to see a brown bear while rafting. Accommodation at tents.

DAY 10:

The end of rafting nearby Malkinsky hot springs. Bathing in the thermal springs. Transfer to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski. Accommodation at the hotel. Rest.

DAY 11:

Helicopter trip to The Valley of Geysers. The excursion lasts about 7 hours. While the flight you will see Karymsky and Maly Semyachik volcanoes. On the way back the helicopter lands by the hot thermal springs. Bathing. Return to the hotel at Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski.

DAY 12:

Sea trip along the Avacha Bay. Going out to the Pacific ocean, sightseeing the Starichkov island, sea fishing. There is a possibility to see sea animals, such as killer whale, seals and sea lions.

DAY 13:

Visiting fish-market and a souvenir shop. Transfer to the airport.
