Lenin, who lived in Shushenskoye in exile 1897-1900. This corner of antiquity is located on the banks of the River Shush, near its confluence with the Yenisei. Numerous monuments of rural architecture are located on an area of ​​7 hectares: peasant houses, a trading shop, a prison, a tavern, a total of about 200 wooden buildings. This is an amazing atmosphere, exciting even inveterate skeptics, visiting a real Siberian village of the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Tourists will visit the tavern, where they expect a surprise, visit the real merchant's shop and get acquainted with the skill of artisans.

The group regrets leaving the hospitable village, but there is still a lot of interesting things ahead. The path lies through the mountains of Western Sayan, beyond which, as they believed earlier, is the edge of the world. The edge is not an edge, but the landscapes are stunning, you can't take your eyes off the bus windows. In the late afternoon, the group arrives in Tuva. This is surprising, but as soon as the bus crosses the border of the republic, even the landscape changes dramatically. This is communication with spirits, a real sorcerous ritual by the fire, accompanied by lingering sounds and beats on a tambourine. The rarest case when several shamans take part in the rite. For some, it will be a rite of purification, someone will plunge into meditation, and someone will simply make a wish - and it will come true. Those who wish can immediately receive an appointment with any of the shamans in order to find out their future, undergo a ritual of purification or inquire about their health (treatment and divination are paid on their own according to the rates of the receiving shaman) *

The intersection of Tyva from east to west. Sacred mountain and Buddhist monastery.

On this day, the group crosses Tuva from east to west, following the path of the ancient nomads. Before lunch - stop at the breathtaking Mount Khairakan, this is one of the most holy and revered places in Tuva. In 1992, it was chosen as an energetically strong place and consecrated by Dalai Lama XIV. At least once a year, local shamans come here to recharge their batteries, strengthen and purify the spirit. Lunch will be held on the grass, in a beautiful place, a Buddhist stele is located nearby. And on the glade around the larches numerous edelweisss grow, which for many have become a symbol of the mountains. Walking, rest.

On the way, tourists will see the center of Buddhist culture, the restored monastery of Ustuu-Khuree. The temple became the crown of Buddhist construction in Tuva. There was nothing like him not only in Tuva, but also on the territory of the entire former Soviet Union. In 1930, after the adoption of a special decree, Ustuu-Khuree was closed, and in 1937 it was destroyed. In 1999, the Russian government, recognizing the historical and architectural value of the unique temple of Ustuu-Khuree, decided to restore it. In July 2012, during the celebration of the music festival of the same name, Ustuu-Khuree Temple was officially opened.

On the Sayan Pass, at an altitude of 2,214 meters above sea level, begins Khakassia. The mountains are surrounded by fabulous cedar taiga. The next two days, tourists will spend on the taiga hostel "Snow Leopard", located at an altitude of 1250 meters above sea level, in wooden houses made of cedar with stove heating.

After dinner, you will meet the instructors of the Snow Leopard - amazing people who are in love with nature, the taiga, who know all the surrounding paths, and who know the healing properties of herbs. With them the group will spend the rest of the evening: songs with a guitar, intimate conversations until late at night. The warm smell of your home will caress, lull and soothe you in the cozy cedar houses of the Snow Leopard.

From this point on, the route begins to "loop back”, that is, in fact, the group is sent back. But this is not a return: the journey continues, and, who knows, maybe the most interesting is yet to come.

Day in the taiga.

The first day in the taiga will surprise you with silence, which has long been forgotten in the city.

After breakfast, walk to the suspended bridge of Love (2 km one way, 2.5 hours). Suspension bridge passes through the mountain river Big He. The river rapidly, overcoming rapids and rapids, flows among the centuries-old cedar taiga. Local tradition - a spouse or loved one must carry his beloved in his arms along the bridge of Love over the waters of a mountain river. These taiga corners will reveal their secrets and give you wonderful moments.

After lunch (if you go on a trip in the second half of the summer) you can do the work of the ancient people - collecting. True, it is not difficult here. Taiga is so generous that you don’t have to look for mushrooms and berries, everything grows literally under your feet.

And for sure you try pine nuts. Siberian cedar is a unique tree. Those cedars, in whose environment you find yourself, have survived for more than one century, fed dozens, if not hundreds of generations of taiga inhabitants. Taiga gives a different sense of time and a feeling of unity with nature, which you will want to experience more than once.

Clean taiga air heals, but the true panacea for all ailments is the Russian bath. Steam room with brooms from coniferous branches or birch. From the steam room you can dive into the icy water of the taiga river. And after the bath - to rest and drink tea or kvass in the waiting room.

Here, right along the road, you can see cave paintings depicting sacred rituals, burial mounds or stone sculptures, which are still worshiped by local residents.

For dinner, arrival in the valley of Kyug (translated from Khakass "pleasure"). The yurt complex, where the group will be located, is located on the banks of the small river Askiz between the mountain ranges of the Altai and Sayan mountains.
