Transfer Tashkent-Samarkand "Pearl of the East" by high-speed train "Afrasiab"
Duration of the transfer: 2 hours
Arrival in Samarkand, a meeting with a representative of the travel agency in the station with a sign "Mir-Jahon" and transfer to the hotel.
Excursions around Samarkand. A trip outside the city to visit the museum of the ancient settlement Afrosiab, once the heart of ancient Samarkand, and today it is a unique archaeological site. Visit to the tomb of Saint Daniel. Then you will travel to the village of Konigil, where you can observe the process of making Samarkand paper from mulberry according to ancient technology. Continuation of the excursion in the mausoleum of the Islamic theologian Imam al-Bukhari, who is the author of the hadiths - legends about the words and deeds of the Prophet Muhammad. The memorial complex of Imam Al-Bukhari was reconstructed in 1997-1998, becoming one of the most visited holy places of the country.

Sightseeing in Samarkand: Ulugbek Observatory (XV c.), Excavations of the ancient city and Afrosiab Museum, Funerary monument of Saint Daniyar. Registan Square (XV-XVII centuries), Bibi-Khanum mosque (XIV-XV centuries), the tomb of the first president of Uzbekistan, inspection of the Samarkand local bazaar. Inspection of the Gur-Emir Mausoleum of Timur's tomb (XV c.), Mausoleum of Rukhabad (XIV century), Shakhi-Zinda necropolis (XIV-XV cc.). Visit to the Samarkand-Bukhska silk carpet making factory. Staying at the factory for 2 hours, when you can observe the whole process of weaving silk carpets on the basis of "manual" technology. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Samarkand. |

Breakfast in a hotel. Transfer Samarkand-Bukhara by high-speed train "Afrasiab"

The second day in Bukhara begins with a trip outside the city to the summer residence of the last Bukhara emir Sitorai Mohi-Khos. The unique building combines the traditions of eastern architecture and the motives of Russian architecture. Then visit the mausoleum of the founder of the Sufi order Bahouddin Naqshbandi and necropolis Chor Bakr. Return to Bukhara. End of the tour.
